Role Overview

The Accounts Clerk supports the Finance team by handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring accounts are kept up to date. This role suits someone with solid bookkeeping experience, good attention to detail, and confidence in using accounting systems. You'll work across accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll support, reconciliations, and month-end tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete bank reconciliations
  • Handle balance sheet reconciliations
  • Process and reconcile accounts receivable
  • Process accounts payable and prepare payments
  • Assist with payroll processing and payroll reconciliations
  • Support month-end closing activities
  • Maintain fixed asset records
  • Provide basic software support related to accounting systems
  • Assist with system administration tasks as needed

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Experience using ERP systemsExposure to multi-site accounting setups
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
