1.1 Regular Duties

1.1.1 Responsible for keeping rooms supplied with linen and other guest room supplies and attends to immediate needs of guests on his/her assigned floor

1.1.2 Receives fresh supply of guestroom linen and other supplies and inspects them, return and replace linens to supply room

1.1.3 Renders personal assistance to guests by taking out trays, serving ice, cleaning shoes, carrying packages, assists in packing and unpacking, giving general information about hotel services and facilities

1.1.4 Cleans corridors including elevator lobbies

1.1.5 Sees to it that there is adequate supply of guest room items in service area as required for his/her floor

1.1.6 Attends to complaints and requests regarding guest room services and refers them to supervisor for prompt corrective action

1.1.7 Cleans and maintains service areas and equipment daily

1.1.8 Turn down beds and replace towels upon request

1.1.9 Maintains cleanliness, orderliness and sanitation of his/her assigned area

1.1.10 Makes sure all rooms are sprayed and free from pests based on vacancy and/or out of order (OOO) rooms report by pest provider regularly

1.1.11 Monitors/reports the updated room status and reports to supervisor and telephone coordinator

1.1.12 Oversees the prompt make-up and cleaning of rooms under his/her care

1.1.13 Reports defective room accessories and facilities to Floor Supervisor

1.1.14 Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time
