About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Manila Bankers Life Insurance Corp' as an HR Manager. As an experienced HR professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's human capital strategy and ensuring its talented workforce is effectively supported and empowered. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Makati City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing strategic HR leadership and guidance to the business, aligning HR initiatives with the company's overall objectives
  2. Overseeing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and learning & development
  3. Implementing robust HR policies, procedures and practices to foster a positive, productive and engaging work environment
  4. Partnering with department heads to understand their talent needs and design bespoke HR solutions
  5. Leading the HR team and mentoring/developing its members to build a high-performing function
  6. Driving continuous improvement in HR service delivery and employee experience
  7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 8 years' experience in a generalist HR management role, ideally within the financial services or insurance industry
  2. Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate business needs into effective HR initiatives
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with employees at all levels
  4. Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing HR teams
  5. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation and compliance requirements
  6. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  7. SHRM or CIPD certification is preferred
