The role is for Amaka IO Pty Ltd under PowerPeople AI Pty Ltd
Amaka is an established Australian FinTech Company that specializes in building
accounting integrations to automate data entry by syncing data from the Point of Sale
Systems to the Accounting packages Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB.
We are looking for an experienced customer support specialist for our Accounting
Integration Software (SAAS), to work in a full-time role. The ideal candidate will possess
proficiency in English communication and some basic accounting knowledge.
To thrive in this role, you will need active listening skills, and excellent rapport-building
abilities and will have the capability to hold yourself accountable and achieve goals with
limited direct supervision. In-depth training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Requirements:
- Strong and Effective English Communicator (both verbal and written)
- Preferably with a BPO experience and some exposure to communicating with global clients
- Preferably with Sales experience
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business
- Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
- Experience and Knowledge in Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB accounting packages, an advantage
- Proactive, Results-driven with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Tech-savvy, and able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience.
- Natural customer relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Monitoring and managing support requests via chat, phone, and service desk.
- Hosting remote sessions that cover demo walkthrough presentations with
- global clients.
- Monitoring and managing new integrations queue.
- Monitoring and managing integration errors and data sync.
- Plan and manage daily integration-related tasks
- Tracking issue resolutions through the service desk.
Reports to the Head of Customer Success.
