About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer III (SO3) to oversee and implement the company's health and safety programs at our construction site in Baguio City. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all applicable safety laws, standards, and regulations, and promote a culture of safety among all workers and subcontractors on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with the company's safety policies, DOLE requirements, and project-specific safety plans.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings, safety inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and submit safety reports, incident/accident reports, and other documentation required by management or regulatory bodies.
  • Lead accident investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, and DOLE representatives to maintain safe working conditions.
  • Ensure all workers and subcontractors undergo proper safety orientation and training.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer III (Certificate of Training on Construction Occupational Safety and Health [COSH] required).
  • Preferably a graduate of Engineering or any related technical course.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
  • Knowledgeable in DOLE, OSHC, and other regulatory safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and observation skills.
  • Willing to be assigned full-time at the project site in Baguio City.
