Key Responsibilities

• Physical Inventory:

Conducts regular physical counts of merchandise, items, and stock to verify quantities and locations.
- Data Analysis:

Reviews inventory reports, sales data, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and identify inconsistencies between records and actual stock.
- Discrepancy Investigation:

Identifies, investigates, and documents any differences between inventory records and physical counts, such as overages, shortages, or damage.
- Process Improvement:

Develops and implements procedures to improve inventory tracking and management, and recommends strategies to streamline processes.
- Record Keeping:

Records and maintains accurate inventory data in management systems or databases and prepares regular reports.
- Collaboration:

Works with warehouse staff, suppliers, and other teams to coordinate inventory handling and resolve discrepancies.
- Quality Control:

Inspects merchandise for quality, salability, and checks expiration dates.
