Sourcing and Procurement:

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
  • Source and communicate with vendors to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing.
  • Prepare canvass sheets and purchase orders (PO) accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support negotiations on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective procurement.
  • Monitor and follow up on order status to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Supplier Coordination and Relationship Management:

  • Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers and vendor databases.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, delivery schedules, and payment concerns.
  • Assist in resolving issues related to supplier performance, quality, or delivery delays.
  • Support the monitoring of inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to identify and fulfill procurement requirements.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Ensure all procurement activities are properly documented and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain records of canvass sheets, purchase orders, delivery receipts, and supplier quotations.
  • Prepare and submit procurement reports as required.

Cost and Risk Awareness:

  • Assist in evaluating suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Support initiatives that promote cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement and logistics.
  • Identify potential supply issues and promptly escalate to the Procurement Officer or Manager.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

What You'll Bring(Experience)

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in procurement or logistics transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledgeable in preparing Purchase Orders and canvass sheets.
  • Proficient in vendor sourcing and basic price comparison techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Willing to work onsite and render overtime when necessary.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments.
