Job Summary: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the organization’s operational requirements. This role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and adhering to company policies and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with company goals. Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to ensure the best value for the company. Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and related documentation. Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, and Inventory) to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and cost-saving measures. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes. Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and legal requirements. Resolve supplier issues and discrepancies in invoices, deliveries, or payments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. At least 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as market analysis. High attention to detail and organizational skills.
