About the role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this full-time Ground Maintenance role at Metro Hue-Tech Chemical Co., Inc.' is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the company's grounds and outdoor areas at our Calamba City, Laguna facility. This is an important position that helps maintain the professional image and safety of our site.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing regular grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and edging lawns and landscaping
  • Operating and maintaining grounds equipment and tools in a safe manner
  • Removing litter, debris and snow/ice from walkways, parking lots and other outdoor areas
  • Assisting with the set-up and breakdown of outdoor events and activities
  • Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
  • Performing other general grounds keeping duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or a similar role
  • Ability to use and maintain common grounds keeping equipment and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor tasks
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
