Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze facility issues affecting daily plant performance and make action plan/countermeasures to resolve particular production problems and minimize overall costs
  • Evaluate facility equipment that supports plant operation, initiate improvements and verify effectiveness of improvement to increase plant production efficiency and quality
  • Analyze water and energy consumption trend of plant facilities and initiate energy cost reduction activities       
  • Periodically inspects existing plant facilities, significantly in the areas of depicting the condition, deficiencies, equipment/s for repairs, proposed designs/countermeasures and estimated cost of repairs to ensure early identification of facility needs     
  • Evaluate job requests from customers and project proposals from Sub-contractor works to ensure that designs fall within the expected specifications and quality standards

Job Qualifications:

  • A graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering course
  • Knowledge of various quality system methodologies such 8D, Lean, 5 Why's, Pareto Analysis, etc.
  • Knowledgeable with the requirements of ISO 9001 and other Quality Management System
  • Proficiency in a computerized database or document system as well as Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel
