Key Responsibilities:
Guest Check-In and Check-Out:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process.
- Handle check-out procedures, including processing payments and providing receipts.
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and any other booking-related inquiries.
Customer Service:
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide guests with accurate information regarding hotel services, local attractions, transportation, and amenities.
Front Desk Operations:
- Manage the front desk by answering phones, directing calls, and managing guest records.
- Maintain up-to-date guest information in the hotel's property management system.
- Ensure that all guest interactions are professional and courteous, both in-person and over the phone.
Room Assignment & Upgrades:
- Assign rooms based on guest preferences and availability.
- Offer room upgrades and special promotions as appropriate.
Security & Compliance:
- Follow security procedures for guest check-in/check-out and ensure the safety of all guests.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and local laws.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room availability and guest satisfaction.
- Communicate guest feedback to relevant departments for immediate action or improvement.
Administrative Tasks:
- Assist with administrative duties, such as updating guest profiles, generating reports, and managing inventories.
- Handle cash and other payments accurately.
