Job Description:

  • Monitor team performance, set targets, manage the workflow, and report on key metrics.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of underwriters, conduct performance reviews, and support their professional development.
  • Review and approve complex or escalated underwriting applications that require a higher level of expertise.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, risk management, and claims, to facilitate seamless operations and address issues.
  • Contribute to and lead initiatives for process improvements within the underwriting department.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate of any related course.
  • Experience with underwriting software and a strong understanding of insurance or relevant industry policies.
  • Excellent communication to effectively liaise with the team, management, and other departments.
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of professionals.
  • Can start ASAP
