As a Medical Records Specialist, you will manage and safeguard patient records with precision, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting healthcare providers with timely, accurate documentation. Your work will be vital to patient care, billing, and the overall efficiency of the healthcare system.

Job Overview

  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Shift: Day Shift, Weekends Off
  • Work setup: Onsite, Makati

Role Overview:

  • Maintain patient index and resolve audit issues per procedures
  • Create and process patient care folders
  • Ensure chart availability and assist in locating records
  • Notify providers about record status
  • Request, upload, and log medical records
  • Support billing with record requests
  • Review records for accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare records for insurance submission
  • Document actions and communicate ongoing needs
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines for data security
  • Perform other assigned tasks

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of related experience
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent data entry skills
  • Superior customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
