Job Summary
The Payroll In-Charge is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, processing, and distribution of employee payroll. The role ensures compliance with government regulations, company policies, and internal controls related to salaries, benefits, and statutory deductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing
- Prepare and process payroll for all employees on a regular schedule.
- Verify attendance, overtime, leaves, and deductions to ensure accuracy of payroll data.
- Ensure correct computation of government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, Withholding Tax).
- Records Management
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and 201 files.
- Safekeep payroll-related documents and ensure confidentiality.
- Compliance
- Ensure compliance with DOLE and government-mandated benefits and reporting.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for statutory agencies.
- Coordination
- Coordinate with HR and Accounting for employee movements (new hires, resignations, salary adjustments).
- Address employee concerns and inquiries regarding salary, deductions, and benefits.
- Reporting & Audit
- Generate payroll reports for management review.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate payroll data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR Management, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years experience in payroll processing or similar role.
- Knowledgeable in payroll systems, government statutory requirements, and labor laws.
- Proficient in MS Excel and payroll software.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
