Finance and Accounting Associate

Operational Responsibilities
- Perform daily finance and accounting transactions, such as: Financial Statement, Ban Reconciliation and Taxes
- Assist/Lead in the preparation of periodic financial reports and audit schedules.
Service Delivery
- Ensure transactions are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Maintain service quality and productivity in accordance with defined SLAs.
- Respond to client queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Compliance and Documentation
- Maintain updated and accurate documentation of processes, approvals, and audit trails.
- Support compliance with internal controls and data protection policies.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in team huddles, training sessions, and improvement initiatives.
- Provide feedback and suggestions on process enhancements or automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with team leads and managers to implement best practices.
- Escalate discrepancies, issues, or risks to supervisors or team leads as needed.
- Follow established workflows, policies, and escalation protocols.
- Accounts Receivable: Billing, cash application, collections support.
- General Ledger: Journal entries, reconciliations, month-end activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA-track is an advantage
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a shared service or BPO environment
- Financial Statement, Ban Reconciliation and Taxes (MUST HAVES)
- Experience in handling complex transactions
Technical Skills:
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks); able to navigate and analyze data effectively
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in basic accounting principles (GAAP/PFRS).
- Good understanding of accounting processes such as GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and financial reporting
