Site Acquisition Officer/Market Development Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or any related field.
  • Experience in site acquisition, real estate negotiation, market research, or business development is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local zoning regulations, permits, and property documentation.
  • Ability to identify potential locations for business expansion.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Willing to travel and conduct fieldwork.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills for dealing with property owners, brokers, and LGUs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential locations for business expansion.
  • Scout and evaluate properties based on business requirements, foot traffic, accessibility, competition, and demographic data.
  • Coordinate with property owners, brokers, developers, and LGUs to gather information on available sites.
  • Negotiate lease terms, rental rates, and contract conditions with property owners.
  • Prepare and submit site evaluation reports, feasibility studies, and recommendations to management.
  • Assist in securing necessary permits, clearances, and documentation needed for site approval and development.
  • Maintain a database of potential and acquired sites.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and validation of property information.
  • Monitor competitor activities and emerging markets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Engineering, Legal, and Operations during site evaluation and approval.
  • Ensure that all site acquisition processes follow company standards and timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, brokers, and LGU representatives.
