We are seeking an experienced Engineering & Service Manager to lead and oversee all after-sales service operations for a leading distributor of commercial and industrial equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical service teams, ensuring efficient equipment installation, maintenance, warranty, and parts sales operations, while driving customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operations of the Engineering and After-Sales Service Department.
  • Lead service engineers and technicians in managing installation, commissioning, and maintenance of kitchen, laundry, and HVAC systems.
  • Develop and implement service strategies, preventive maintenance plans, and warranty management programs.
  • Coordinate closely with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
  • Review and approve cost estimates, quotations, and service contracts.
  • Manage after-sales targets including service revenue, parts sales, contract renewals, and accounts receivables.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure training and development of technical teams.
  • Provide management reports and business forecasts related to service operations.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Mechanical Engineering (Licensed Engineer preferred).
  • At least 10 years of experience in HVAC, kitchen, laundry, or industrial equipment — including service, installation, and maintenance management.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity, leading service teams or technical departments.
  • Strong background in after-sales service, parts sales, contract management, and customer relationship handling.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (for forecasting and reporting).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
