About the role

Ascendion is seeking a talented TOSCA Tester to join our dynamic team in our Ortigas, Pasig City office. As a TOSCA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software solutions. This is a full-time, onsite position with immediate availability.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and executing TOSCA test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of our software applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address software defects
  • Documenting test plans, test cases, and test results for traceability and reporting purposes
  • Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of our software delivery
  • Providing technical support and guidance to the development team
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest TOSCA testing tools and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in TOSCA testing, preferably in an IT or software development environment
  • Proficient in designing and executing TOSCA test scripts, as well as in test case management and defect tracking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and test automation frameworks
  • Certification in TOSCA or other relevant testing certifications is a plus
