An Audit Specialist's job description involves planning and executing audits (financial, operational, or compliance), evaluating internal controls, and identifying risks and discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and company policies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits: Plan and perform financial, operational, and compliance audits according to established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate internal controls: Assess the effectiveness of internal control systems and identify potential risks.
  • Analyze data: Examine financial statements, account books, and other records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and report findings: Detect discrepancies, areas of non-compliance, or operational inefficiencies and document them in comprehensive reports.
  • Recommend improvements: Propose corrective actions and process improvements to management to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with management and other departments to understand audit requirements and present findings.
  • Develop audit procedures: Contribute to the development and refinement of corporate policies, procedures, and audit tools.
  • Maintain documentation: Ensure all audit procedures and findings are properly documented according to established standards.

Job Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 - 2 years experience but Fresh Graduates can be consider for the role.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and the ability to work with accounting and auditing software is essential.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail are critical for evaluating data and identifying issues.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for preparing reports and interacting with management and other staff.
  • Professional attributes: The ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and maintain a strong work ethic are important.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php21, Php25,000.00 per month
