Job Description

The Audit Specialist is responsible for conducting systematic reviews of organizational processes, financial records, and operational activities to ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and industry standards. The role involves planning and executing audit engagements, identifying control gaps, preparing audit reports, and recommending corrective actions to strengthen internal controls. The Audit Specialist ensures the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of company data and supports management in mitigating operational and financial risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with audit plans and established procedures.
  • Evaluate internal controls, business processes, and risk exposures across departments.
  • Analyze financial data, transactions, and documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Prepare audit working papers, findings, and formal audit reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Verify adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Monitor implementation of corrective action plans and follow up on unresolved audit issues.
  • Assist in developing audit methodologies, risk assessments, and process improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality, independence, and objectivity in all audit engagements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit, or compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal control frameworks, and risk assessment processes.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, documentation, and audit software/tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple audits, and meet deadlines with integrity and professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php21, Php24,139.58 per month
