About the Role
The IT Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of Kinyara Health's Microsoft 365 environment. This role supports the organization by maintaining core systems, leading infrastructure enhancements, and providing advanced technical expertise. Through automation, migration projects, and collaboration with IT and business teams, the role contributes to improved operational efficiency and a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint Online, Teams, Teams Calling, Exchange Online, Power BI).
- Plan and lead Microsoft 365 tenancy migration projects and system transitions.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to enhance automation and efficiency.
- Monitor system health, ensure compliance and security, and proactively address risks or performance issues.
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for help desk requests related to Microsoft 365.
- Deliver training, documentation, and expert guidance to IT staff and end-users.
- Contribute to IT initiatives and cross-functional projects as required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 99% uptime and operational reliability of Microsoft 365 services.
- 100% completion of migration tasks within agreed timelines.
95% automation success rate for recurring tasks.
- Annual review and update of SharePoint and Exchange Online structures.
- ≥90% of Tier 2+ support requests resolved within SLA (1–2 business days).
- Staff satisfaction score of ≥4.5/5 for Microsoft 365 support.
- Minimum of 2 training sessions or internal knowledge resources delivered each quarter.
Key Competencies
- Proven expertise in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft 365 automation.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online administration and customization.
- Practical experience with Teams Calling configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and visualization.
- Demonstrated success in Microsoft 365 tenancy migration projects.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Experience & Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365 (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, MS-700).
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft 365 workloads such as Exchange Online and Intune.
- Background in IT infrastructure or cloud services administration.
