The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key retail and distributor accounts in the pharmaceutical industry. This role focuses on driving sales and ensuring the success of the company's products within major trade channels such as Mercury, Watsons, and other large retail drugstore chains and distributors.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with strong connections to Mercury Drug, Watsons, large retail drugstores, distributors, and other institutional accounts.
  • Deep understanding of sales and marketing strategies in the pharma retail sector.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while driving results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including Mercury, Watsons, large retail drugstores, and distributors.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities and implementing strategies to increase market share within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with key clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Monitor account performance, conduct sales forecasting, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and explore new trade channels for product distribution.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly, maintaining strong customer service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
