L2 IT ADMINISTRATOR

Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Level 2 IT Administrator with a proven background in Managed Service Providers (MSP). This role demands a fast-paced, proactive, and stable professional who thrives under pressure, communicates fluently in English, and is willing to extend shifts when required. You will be responsible for providing advanced IT support, performing critical system maintenance, and ensuring client environments remain secure, efficient, and operational.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and firmware updates on routers, particularly WatchGuard and Fortinet devices.
• Conduct maintenance and administration of Windows Servers (2012, 2019, and above), ensuring high availability and security.
• Provide support and maintenance for Windows PCs and Mac systems.
• Manage, monitor, and resolve issues with backup solutions, including Altaro, Veeam, and Datto Backup (main requirement).
• Work extensively with Autotask PSA system for ticketing, monitoring, and client reporting.
• Review and troubleshoot Windows Server event logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Manage and support Hypervisor virtual machines (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Deliver Level 2 technical support, ensuring SLA compliance in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with Level 1 engineers and escalate to Level 3 where necessary.
• Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Level 2 IT Administrator / Engineer within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal (fluent and client-facing).
• Solid hands-on experience with:
• Routers/Firewalls – WatchGuard, Fortinet
• Windows Servers (2012, 2019, and above)
• Windows & Mac OS environments
• Backup technologies – Altaro, Veeam, Datto (critical requirement)
• Autotask PSA system
• Hypervisors (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments with urgency and precision.
• A stable and proactive personality, able to take ownership of tasks and follow through to resolution.
• Willingness to work extended hours or shifts as needed to meet business and client demands.

Work from Home Requirements (Must have before the start date)

• Internet Connection : Min of 30 mbps wired internet connection speed AND a backup internet connection (before start date)
• Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a working computer with updated current programmes from home with Dual Monitors
• Noise Canceling Headset (Plantronics)
• Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
• Must be comfortable working with a Monitoring Software (for payroll and timekeeping purposes only)
• Webcam - Contractors must have a working webcam

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php45,000.00 per month
