Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Associate to join our growing team. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for the full-charge monthly close for their respective companies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial processes. What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee the full-charge monthly close, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and accounts are reconciled.

  • Import, review, and code all bank transactions; reconcile bank accounts and merchant account deposits.

  • Update and maintain custom Excel reports for clients, ensuring financial data is current and accurate.

  • Prepare and post adjusting journal entries for month-end close.

  • Assist in the preparation and production of financial statements for the parent company's financials.

  • Perform other accounting tasks as assigned to contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting function.

What we're looking for:

  • A degree from a 4-year college or university.

  • 2 – 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong verbal and written English skills.

  • Strong Excel skills is a MUST – working knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup, if statements, indirect, and match.

  • Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks, and Xero

  • Capable of prioritizing projects according to urgency and effectively managing time.
