ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position plays a key role in driving search visibility and performance for a leading marketplace platform and its network of agency clients. The role blends technical SEO expertise with AI-assisted optimisation (AIO) to deliver impactful content strategies and measurable organic growth.

The successful candidate will work closely with Australian and Cebu-based content teams to plan, execute, and refine search initiatives across web, social, e-commerce, and AI-driven platforms. Core responsibilities include AI-assisted content creation, keyword research, technical and on-page optimisation, link audits, competitive analysis, and implementing innovative AI-powered SEO projects.

Using a combination of research, analytics, and best-practice optimisation techniques, the role will focus on enhancing rankings, improving user engagement, and delivering consistent, high-quality outputs that meet established editorial and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Create and optimise SEO copy for web pages, blogs, marketplace pages, GMB posts, FAQ pages, and marketplace profiles.

• Collaborate with the Constructiv Digital agency team and work with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, align SEO and AIO strategies with broader marketing goals, and action feedback effectively.

• Edit, proofread, and provide quality assurance feedback to ensure all content meets SEO, brand, and editorial standards.

• Conduct technical and content audits, assessing existing site maps to identify potential page additions, content gaps, and structural improvements.

• Carry out keyword research and competitive analysis using platforms such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SearchAtlas, and Screaming Frog to inform optimisation strategies.

• Structure and optimise web pages using SEO best practices, including headings, page titles, meta descriptions, CTAs, and internal linking, targeting relevant keywords to improve rankings.

• Present SEO strategies, performance updates, and insights to internal teams, recommending new tools, methods, and optimisations.

• Work with AI tools to efficiently produce and scale content without compromising quality or brand consistency.

• Experiment with emerging AI/SEO tools and techniques to maintain a competitive edge in search performance.

ABOUT YOU:

• University or Tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Media, PR, Marketing, English or a similar discipline/related field with demonstrated experience in creating and optimising content.

• 2-3 years of experience developing high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.

• 2-3 years of agency SEO experience, with a strong focus on technical and content-related SEO tasks.

• Preferably with 12 months AIO experience with a developing understanding of best practice techniques to rank for Search AI platforms.

• Proven ability to conduct keyword research, technical audits, and competitive analysis.

• Proficiency in SEO tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, SearchAtlas, Surfer SEO, and Screaming Frog

• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted content generation tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini AI.

• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and emerging SEO trends.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and provide actionable insights.

• Ability to work "proactively" independently and collaborate effectively with both Australian-based and Cebu-based team members.

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.

• Strong grammatical expertise and the ability to write for both long- and short-form content structures.

• Understanding of tone of voice and ability to adapt writing to suit the target audience.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with a hands-on approach to completing tasks.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and KPI targets.

• Willingness to adapt to new tools, technologies, and methods to maintain best-practice SEO and AIO performance.
