As the SEO-Focused Marketing Specialist, you will be tasked with overseeing SEO strategy and implementation for all organization brands. Working from the Philippines, you will report to our Australian Partners and focus on optimizing online content to boost search rankings, drive organic traffic, and generate leads to support the group's growth. This is a full-time outsourced role with opportunities for long-term collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms relevant to accounting services, financial advice, and related industries.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies, including:
- On-page optimization (e.g., meta tags, headers, content structure)
- Off-page tactics (e.g., link building, guest posting)
- Optimize website content, blog posts, and landing pages to align with SEO best practices, ensuring they are user-friendly and conversion-oriented.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- SEMrush or Ahrefs
- Create and manage SEO-optimized content calendars, collaborating with content creators to produce blog articles, guides, and resources tailored to our target audience (e.g., Australian SMEs).
- Perform regular SEO audits to identify technical issues such as:
- Site speed
- Mobile responsiveness
- Crawl errors
- Recommend fixes
- Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes (e.g., Google updates), and industry best practices, applying them to our strategies.
- Generate monthly reports on SEO performance, including:
- Organic traffic growth
- Keyword rankings
- ROI
- Actionable insights for improvement
- Assist in integrating SEO with other marketing efforts, such as:
- Social media
- Email campaigns
- Paid ads
- Ensure all activities comply with ethical SEO guidelines.
About you . . .
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in a marketing role for professional services firms (e.g., finance, consulting, or B2B sectors).
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Ahrefs
- SEMrush
- Moz or similar platforms
Strong understanding of:
Technical SEO
- Content marketing
Digital analytics
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with an Australian team (time zone awareness for AEST is a plus).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for on-page edits.
- Familiarity with Australian market trends or accounting industry terminology.
