1. Product Registration and Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare and submit product registration dossiers to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other relevant agencies.
  • Ensure all technical documents (e.g., product formulation, Certificate of Analysis, GMP, and HACCP certificates) are complete and compliant.
  • Monitor updates on FDA regulations, labeling requirements, and food standards (Philippine Food Safety Act, Codex Alimentarius, etc.).
  • Coordinate with R&D, QA, and production teams to ensure regulatory conformity in product formulation and packaging.
  • Maintain updated Product Information Files (PIFs) for all registered products.

2. Nutrition Labeling and Claims Management

  • Verify nutrition facts labels for accuracy and compliance with FDA and Codex guidelines.
  • Review and validate health or nutrition claims (e.g., "high in fiber," "low fat," "no added sugar").
  • Work with graphic designers and marketing teams to ensure label design meets legal standards.

3. Quality and Safety Coordination

  • Ensure that distributed food products adhere to quality and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Warehousing to maintain product integrity during distribution.
  • Support the development of product recall procedures and corrective action plans when necessary.

4. Product Documentation and Record Management

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for all registered products.
  • Track registration timelines, renewal schedules, and submission deadlines.
  • Prepare periodic compliance and status reports for management.

5. Distribution and Technical Support

  • Assist logistics and sales departments in ensuring that only registered products are distributed or sold.
  • Provide technical product information to distributors, sales agents, and customers.
  • Conduct product training or briefings on nutritional content, usage, and target consumers.

6. Liaison and Audit Support

  • Serve as liaison with FDA, DOH, and local regulatory offices for inspections or queries.
  • Assist during regulatory audits or compliance reviews.
  • Represent the company in industry associations and regulatory forums.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND).
  • Must be a Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RND) with valid PRC license.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in food regulatory affairs, QA, or R&D.
  • Knowledgeable in FDA product registration procedures (CPR, LTO, FR).
  • Proficient in nutrition labeling, Codex standards, and food safety systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with occasional field or FDA visits.
  • May coordinate with laboratories, suppliers, or external consultants.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
