About the role

Unilogix, Inc. is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Paranaque City Metro Manila. He will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all mechanical systems, equipment, and utilities in the food production facility. This role involves overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting continuous improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and food safety standards.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, including monitoring and maintaining machinery, equipment, and systems
  2. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety
  3. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all plant equipment
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise
  5. Analyze operational data and provide recommendations to management on ways to optimize plant performance
  6. Ensure the plant operates in compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  7. Provide technical guidance and support to plant personnel as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. 5+ years of experience as a Plant Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  3. Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools, such as CAD, project management, and data analysis
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Proactive and detail-oriented, with a commitment to continuous improvement and safety
  7. Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry
