- First 60–90 days: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Pacific Time, with the remaining 4 hours scheduled flexibly.

Our client is a company in Canada that offers an online education program designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs launch products using Fulfilment by Amazon.
About the Role
As an Amazon Operations Manager, you will will oversee the day-to-day business operations, ensuring smooth execution across departments while driving growth and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of Amazon operations, leadership capabilities, and hands-on management of processes, teams, and strategies. The ideal candidate has worked with multiple Amazon accounts, managed cross-functional teams, and can balance strategic direction with operational execution.
Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Handle the oversight and management of the day-to-day operations of the company
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop actionable business strategies and plans, in coordination with CEO, that is aligned with short-term and long-term objectives of the company
- Participate in vision planning and provide insights and strategies to scale operations and achieve business growth targets.
- Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of product launch campaigns
- Work directly with PPC, sourcing, and reporting teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Demonstrate a hands-on leadership style by actively engaging in operations and supporting the team as needed.
- Balance strategic oversight with practical execution to ensure goals are met efficiently.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of around five members
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and accountability to ensure high performance across departments.
- Performance Management
- Develop applicable KPIs, which will serve as baseline and target, to establish appropriate measure of accountability for the team and ensure that goals are well-defined
- Monitor and analyze performance of business operations considering the overall company goals, KPIs, and other relevant information (e.g., market trends)
- Process Improvement:
- Maintain and update company process documentation (i.e., process maps, SOPs, and workflows)
- Identify potential business risks and areas for improvement, and prepare recommendations and corrective measures as needed
Competencies and Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience in Amazon operations, account management, or a similar eCommerce leadership role
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Amazon Seller Central
- Experience managing Amazon accounts in an agency capacity, handling multiple brands or clients simultaneously
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
Nice-to-Have
- DataDive experience, particularly for listing optimization and performance analysis.
- Airtable experience
- Familiarity or experience with ScaleInsights
