About the role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Loans Assistant to join our dynamic team at City Savings Bank in Cebu. As a Loans Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the processing and management of loan applications, ensuring efficient customer service and contributing to the overall success of our retail banking operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the processing and review of loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation
  2. Liaising with customers to gather necessary information and supporting documents for loan applications
  3. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of loan activities, including disbursements, repayments, and status updates
  4. Providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to loan products and services
  5. Supporting the Loans Team in administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and report generation
  6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient loan application process

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the banking or financial services industry
  2. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to work with loan management software
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements
