Job Summary:

We are looking for a sharp, research-driven Content Creator with a strong grasp of the Australian finance and/or real estate market. You'll be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging content across digital platforms that educates, informs, and inspires our target audience. This includes articles, social media posts, video scripts, and more.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the nuances of topics like property investment, lending, market trends, taxation, or personal finance in an Australian context—and can make them digestible for a broader audience.

What you'll do:

  • Research, plan and create engaging content focused on Australian finance, property, and/or investment markets
  • Develop blog posts, long-form articles, email copy, social media posts, and video scripts
  • Stay up-to-date with financial and real estate trends, legislation, and industry movements in Australia
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, product, etc.) to align content with strategic objectives
  • Optimise content for SEO and platform-specific engagement
  • Conduct interviews and source insights from experts (optional but ideal)

Must Haves:

  • Proven experience creating finance or property content (portfolio or published work required)
  • Deep knowledge of the Australian finance and/or real estate industry, including terminology, regulations, and market dynamics
  • Experience in Australian Finance or Real Estate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Australian English
  • Ability to simplify complex topics for a general audience
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and SEO fundamentals
  • Self-starter with strong research and time-management skills
  • Experience with content development
  • Strong writing skills

Nice to have (but not required):

  • Background in journalism, economics, marketing, or property-related fields
  • Experience using CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress), analytics tools, or AI content tools
  • Video editing or on-camera presentation experience
  • Familiarity with SEO techniques
  • Knowledge of content management systems
