The Upper Deck is hiring a full-time Indoor Cycling Coordinator to lead and elevate our cycling studio experience. This is a leadership role that combines coaching, instructor management, and program development. If you're a certified indoor cycling instructor who thrives in high-energy environments and knows how to build community through movement, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership

  • Develop and manage a results-driven, engaging indoor cycling program.
  • Keep up with trends and apply them to class formats, music, and ride experiences.
  • Lead your own classes as a key instructor.

Instructor Oversight

  • Hire, train, and supervise indoor cycling instructors.
  • Ensure instructors maintain certifications and deliver classes aligned with safety and brand standards.
  • Provide feedback, support, and performance evaluations.

Equipment & Studio Maintenance

  • Oversee bike setup, cleanliness, and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and coordinate repairs when needed.

Customer Experience & Engagement

  • Support members and guests in achieving fitness goals.
  • Handle inquiries, feedback, and class-related concerns with professionalism.
  • Build community among riders and help foster loyalty to the studio.

Health & Safety

  • Maintain a safe training environment.
  • Conduct regular studio safety inspections.
  • Keep CPR, First Aid, and other safety certifications current.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a commercial gym or indoor cycling role
  • Valid Group Fitness Instructor Certification with Indoor Cycling specialty
  • CPR and First Aid certification (required)
  • Strong physical fitness and stamina
  • Confident leader with excellent communication skills
  • Experience managing a team or leading group fitness programs is a plus
  • Background in sports science, exercise science, or similar (preferred)
  • Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, with flexible scheduling (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
