About the Role

We are seeking an IT Service Management (ITSM) Engineer to support day-to-day IT operations, asset management, and service delivery. You will help ensure service availability, compliance, and reliability by monitoring IT systems, managing ITSM tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on automation and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor IT systems and services to ensure performance, uptime, and SLA compliance.
  • Configure and maintain ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) for ticketing and reporting.
  • Support incident, request, and problem management processes including triage and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate IT service catalog and asset lifecycle records (hardware & software).
  • Assist with audit requirements, compliance documentation, and ITSM/ITAM reporting.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support automation and monitoring.
  • Contribute to process improvements and knowledge-sharing initiatives across IT operations.
Skills & Competencies
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and ITSM process areas (incident, change, asset, etc.).
  • Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management and license compliance.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience monitoring system performance and escalating issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (BSP, ISO 27001, COBIT, PCI DSS) is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Must be amenable to report on a hybrid set-up, morning shift schedule (2-3x a week onsite)
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT Operations, ITSM, or IT Service Desk roles.
  • ITIL Foundation certification required; Intermediate/Practitioner preferred.
  • IT Asset Management certification (e.g., CITAM) is an advantage.
  • Experience in banking, fintech, or regulated industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation platforms is preferred.
