Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Procurement:

  • Research and identify potential suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms (price, delivery, etc.).
  • Place and manage purchase orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to address issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.

Analytical and Planning:

  • Analyze market trends and forecast demand.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies.
  • Identify potential cost savings opportunities.
  • Manage budgets and track spending.

Required Skills:

  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills are crucial for securing the best possible prices and terms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with suppliers, internal teams, and management.
