Do you enjoy building tools that make everyday work simpler? As our Application Developer, you'll be the go-to person for turning ideas into practical solutions. From streamlining processes in Google Workspace and Zoho One to connecting systems through automations and integrations, you'll help the business run more smoothly.

You'll design apps, improve workflows, and bring different tools together with smart problem-solving. If you like solving challenges, experimenting with new tech, and making systems work better for people, this role is for you.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on business systems and operation applications (Google workspace, Zoho One applications, etc.)
  • Build applications using Google Workspace and Zoho Creator
  • Execute discovery, testing, implementation of projects focusing on process improvements and automations
  • Facilitate project user acceptance test
  • Provide regular feedback to the IT Service Management Officer on project progress
  • Initiate and participate in regular project meetings
  • Troubleshoot issues related to business systems and applications
  • Be able to integrate different applications, deploy and manage API interactions
  • Initiate process review and process improvement tasks within the departments
  • Facilitate training on technical support and user-end perspective
  • Document all necessary response procedures and change logs

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT-related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with JavaScript, APIs, and automation tools (preferably with completed automation projects and/or application development)

  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations

  • Familiarity with good programming practices (DRY, KISS, SOLID principles)
  • Basic knowledge of Python
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub)
  • Strong foundation in databases including queries, schema design, optimization, and SQL
  • Knowledge of frontend fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support backend development
  • Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in GSuite, Zoho, or similar business applications at an intermediate to advanced level
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills
  • Independent, motivated, and able to perform under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills with good English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, with occasional shift adjustments to collaborate with our Colombia office
  • Must be amenable to reporting to our Makati/BGC offices

Advantageous Qualifications:

  • Experience or knowledge in project management
  • Intermediate to advanced expertise in Zoho Creator and Deluge scripting, PHP (WordPress)
  • Certifications in Project Management, Zoho, or Google Workspace
