  • Support the Cloud Strategy formulation with respect to Application platforms and choices; Engage with customer SMEs to analyze and recommend target application hosting/ consolidation
  • Define architecture strategy and technology roadmap to align with organizational cloud and business goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud service models, application platforms (e.g., Azure App Service, Kubernetes, container apps), and infrastructure choices.
  • Lead application assessments and technical feasibility studies to identify workloads suitable for cloud migration or consolidation.
  • Engage with customer SMEs to gather requirements, analyze application portfolios, and recommend target platforms and hosting consolidation strategies.
  • Design solutions that enable application modernization, refactoring, and migration to cloud-native architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop secure, scalable, and automated cloud application hosting environments.

Good-to-Have

  • Use cloud-managed platforms such as Azure App Services, Azure Container Apps, or Azure Kubernetes Service to host applications with shared or dedicated resources.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

  • We are looking for highly skilled Application architect responsible for cloud strategy formulation typically defines and recommends application platforms and hosting choices aligned with business and technical needs. They engage closely with customer subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze current application environments and recommend target application hosting or consolidation approaches for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with customer SMEs to understand business drivers, application dependencies, and technical constraints.
  • Analyze current application landscape, usage, and performance data to identify consolidation opportunities.
  • Present and recommend target state application hosting platforms and migration roadmaps.
  • Ensure alignment of architecture recommendations with customer's overall IT and cloud strategy objectives.
  • Recommend virtual machines or scale sets where needed for legacy or specialized workloads.
  • Drive application consolidation by migrating multiple applications or components onto unified platforms or shared infrastructure to reduce complexity and costs.
  • Address integration, security, and operational aspects of consolidated hosting environments.
