AOGEN is a modern digital technology company operating across global e-commerce, SaaS platforms, and automation-driven solutions. We build and manage a portfolio of international brands and high-traffic Shopify stores across multiple regions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Shopify Plus Developer & Integration Specialist who can take ownership of development, integrations, and operational workflows within the Shopify ecosystem.

Global Shopify Ecosystem

AOGEN currently operates active Shopify stores in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

The person in this role will:

  • Optimize, maintain, and improve these regional stores
  • Implement new features and performance enhancements
  • Build new Shopify stores as we expand into additional countries
  • Ensure all storefronts remain fast, scalable, and aligned
  • Work with regional settings such as multi-currency, multi-location, and localized templates

This position provides the opportunity to work on a large, global, multi-store Shopify infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize Shopify Plus stores using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Build dynamic sections, templates, and Online Store 2.0 components
  • Manage metafields, metaobjects, and structured workshop/session data
  • Improve theme speed, SEO, and frontend performance
  • Troubleshoot theme/app issues and deploy stable solutions
  • Configure and manage Shopify Webhooks (orders, products, inventory, metafields)
  • Build integrations using Shopify Admin API & Storefront API
  • Sync Shopify data with external platforms (Eventbrite, FeverUp, ClassBento, etc.)
  • Implement Shopify Flow, Shopify Functions and Scripts for automation
  • Ensure session capacity, availability, listings, and updates flow correctly across systems

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Shopify Plus development
  • Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with Shopify API, Flow, Functions, Webhooks
  • Marketplace listing experience (Eventbrite, FeverUp, ClassBento or similar)
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building custom Shopify integrations
  • Familiarity with performance optimization and Online Store 2.0
  • Multi-store management experience
  • Basic familiarity with design tools (Figma)

Location & Work Arrangements

This role is fully remote, and we welcome candidates based in Turkey who can collaborate efficiently with our team. We operate with a results-first mindset, meaning there are no strict working hours or scheduling requirements. You'll have the flexibility to organize your day in the way that suits you best, as long as communication stays clear and deliverables are met.

You'll be working with an international team, supporting Shopify stores across the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia, and helping shape how our products grow at a global scale.
