Job Description (JD):

Position Summary:

The Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. This role ensures efficient warehouse layout, inventory accuracy, and effective logistics coordination to meet customer and business needs. The supervisor will lead a team of warehouse staff and work closely with supply chain, procurement, and transportation teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities including goods receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and dispatch.
  • Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and properly documented.
  • Maintain proper warehouse layout and storage optimization for efficiency and safety.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory control team to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Logistics Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate transportation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Optimize logistics routes and methods to minimize costs and maximize service levels.
  • Handle any transportation or logistics issues that arise, including customs clearance if applicable.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff.
  • Allocate daily tasks and monitor performance and productivity.
  • Promote a safe and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, logistics KPIs, and warehouse productivity.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of WMS (Warehouse Management System) and other technologies.

Job Qualifications (JQ):

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. (Diploma with experience may be acceptable)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, and inventory software.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and warehouse procedures.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, when needed.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items when necessary.
  • Valid driver's license (if transportation duties are required).
  • Willing to be assigned in HO - Rosario, Pasig City, Sto. Tomas, Batangas, Calatagan, Batangas, Masinloc Zambales or Iloilo City.
