About the role

TAF Bookkeeping Services is an Australian based bookkeeping firm seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team in a full-time, remote work from home role. Leveraging your expertise in bookkeeping, you will play a key role in supporting our business and our clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the full cycle of bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, payroll, ATO compliance (BAS, IAS) and preparing financial statements
  • Implementing and maintaining efficient bookkeeping processes and systems across multiple clients from various industry backgrounds
  • Collaborating with the broader team and owner to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
  • Offering expert guidance and support to clients on best practices in bookkeeping.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, gained by working on Australian accounts
  • Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping principles, best practices, and Australian regulatory requirements
  • A highly organised bookkeeper with strong attention to detail (and thus accuracy) and professionalism with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to divide your attention across multiple clients
  • Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into easy-to-understand insights
  • Proficiency in using accounting software in Xero
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
