Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities

HEAVY EQUIPMENT

  • Skillfully, properly, and safely drive and operate Excavator/Backhoe/Boomtruck Self-loader and other heavy equipment including its attachments and/or accessories during the course of the activity;
  • Conduct minor maintenance work on Excavator/Backhoe/Boomtruck Self-loader and other heavy equipment and its attachments and/or accessories if any to help maintain good order and condition. Minor maintenance work includes checking for oil and fuel level, checking the condition. May make recommendations for parts of the equipment, making necessary requests for refill or change oil, minor troubleshooting, and the like;
  • Inspects unit for defect/maintenance on a DAILY basis and submits report indicating the equipment's condition. May make recommendations for parts procurement and maintenance schedule, and minor/major repair. Uses pre-use and post-use inspection checklist before and after using the equipment, HEAR;
  • Ensures safety when carrying out own work. Follows the company's safety policy, and fulfills role as outlined in said policy. Follows safety standards/laws on driving and operating and client's safety requirements;
  • Ensures the proper storage of the Heavy Equipment and its attachments and/or accessories if there's any. Makes sure it is always secured and in its proper storage if it is not in use;
  • Prepares the equipment prior to use and cleans up after work is completed. This includes return of materials, equipment, pumps and tools, in its proper area/storage;
  • Accomplish all forms/reports needed as per SOP;

FOR HOWO and SERVICE VEHICLE

  • Drives gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles, trucks and other transport equipment of DCEI to transport and dump construction materials such as, but not limited to sand, gravel, asphalt, crushed rock or other materials;
  • May move people/equipment to various jobs/sites;
  • Delivers/transfers materials/equipment/vehicles;
  • Inspects service vehicles/equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Perform minor repair and maintenance vehicles, dump truck or other assigned transport equipment. Inspects vehicle/truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating vehicle/truck condition. Use and fill-out necessary checklists – e.g. pre-use and post-use checklist, HEAR;
  • May make recommendations for parts procurement and maintenance schedule;
  • Checks condition of vehicle assigned to him DAILY and reports any (possible) defects/problems within 24 hours of evaluation;
  • Maintains driver log/trip ticket according to DCEI rules and regulations;
  • Ensures safety when carrying out own work, especially when driving. Follows the company's safety policy, and fulfills role as outlined in said policy. Follows safety standards/laws on driving and client's safety requirements;
  • Cleans up the vehicle before and after the work is completed. This includes return of materials, equipment, pumps and tools, if necessary;
  • Requests for fuel as needed for the day before commencement of work;

OTHERS

  • Ensure implementation, evaluation and improvement of QMS related to your function is being regularly monitored;
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be instructed or assigned from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php Php1,000.00 per day
