What is needed from you:


• Proficiency in Excel

• Ability to analyze data


• Critical thinking skills


• Accounting organizational and time management skills


• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in General Accounting


• Fixed Asset Management (preferred but not required)

What you will be doing:


• Assist in period, quarter and year-end close procedures for timely and accurate financial reporting


• Ensure reporting deadlines are met


• Assist in analyzing and resolving accounting issues related to capital expenditures and CIP (construction in progress)


• Perform ERP system maintenance in support of Project Accounting


• Record business transactions via project accounting subledger and general ledger entries


• Review purchasing support and capital treatment determination according to GAAP and company capital policy


• Maintain balance sheet workpapers and account reconciliations


• Fixed Asset Management responsibilities including planning & executing asset additions, transfers & Disposals


• Other duties as necessary to support the department and company financial functions
