Job Description:

  • Assist in period, quarter, and year-end close procedures for timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Ensure reporting deadlines are met
  • Assist in analyzing and resolving accounting issues related to capital expenditures and CIP (construction in progress)
  • Perform ERP system maintenance in support of Project Accounting
  • Record business transactions via the project accounting subledger and general ledger entries
  • Review purchasing support and capital treatment determination according to GAAP and the company's capital policy
  • Maintain balance sheet workpapers and account reconciliations
  • Fixed Asset Management responsibilities, including planning & executing asset additions, transfers & Disposals
  • Other duties as necessary to support the department and company's financial functions
