Job Description

As an External Audit Associate, you'll support audit delivery through documentation, testing, reporting, and analytical review. Under the guidance of senior auditors, you'll learn best practices in assurance, enhance your technical knowledge, and apply international accounting standards across diverse engagements.

The Qualifications We Seek

Essential

  • Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major
  • At least 2 years of end-to-end external audit experience in an auditing firm, preferably one of the Big Four
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Desirable

  • Desire to complete CPA or an equivalent professional qualification

Your Daily Tasks

  • Apply fundamental audit skills as incorporated in the audit process
  • Demonstrate a general understanding of Accounting and Audit Standards
  • Utilize electronic audit tools effectively
  • Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings
  • Assist in preparing reports for management regarding the scope of audits
  • Perform other allocated tasks as directed
  • Maintain personal documentation, including training records, time sheets, and expenses
