Position: Financial Planning Assistant Manager

Location: BGC, Taguig

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA, CFA, or other relevant certification is a plus
  • Must have experience in the manufacturing industry
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with financial software or ERP systems is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation and consolidation of annual and long-range financial plans for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with Japanese principal requirements
  • Prepare consolidated Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet forecasts for Business Plans (BPs) and Achievement Forecasts (AFs)
  • Assist in setting up standard costing for each product or model
  • Conduct monthly OPEX and CAPEX performance reviews with budget owners; summarize and report results, highlighting risks and opportunities against plan
  • Generate comparative analyses of actual revenues, costs, and operating expenses versus budget plans
  • Supervise the Financial Planning team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial forecasts and analysis
  • Perform regular and ad hoc cost and financial analyses
  • Support the preparation of reports and supporting schedules required by counterparts in Japan
