We are seeking a highly analytical, articulate, and results-oriented
Financial Planning Manager
to lead our financial forecasting, planning, and performance reporting functions. This strategic role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in retail and hands-on expertise in budgeting, sales forecasting, cost analysis, and strategic financial planning.

As a key member of the Finance leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering actionable insights and presenting financial reports to the
Management Committee (ManCom)
and
Executive Leadership Team
, while driving data-informed decisions across the organization. You will also lead and mentor a small team in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the
    Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
    function, including budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Analyze operational and purchasing costs, identify key cost drivers, and recommend strategies for cost optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and other departments to align financial forecasts with business goals.
  • Prepare and present executive-level financial reports and dashboards, highlighting performance trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide strategic, data-driven recommendations to support business decisions and improve financial outcomes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, proactively addressing variances and risks.
  • Enhance and maintain internal financial models, forecasting tools, and performance dashboards.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of financial analysts/accountants, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and strengthen financial planning controls.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and lead annual budgeting cycles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
    CPA or MBA
    preferred.
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Retail industry experience is required
    , with deep knowledge of retail cost structures, sales cycles, and inventory dynamics.
  • Proven expertise in:
  • Budgeting and sales forecasting
  • Operational and purchasing cost analysis
  • Strategic financial modeling and scenario planning
  • Strong track record in preparing and delivering executive-level financial presentations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and executive communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing team.
