Job description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in FastAPI and microservices architecture. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, distributed backend systems, collaborating closely with DevOps and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design, develop, and maintain backend services using FastAPI.

-Architect and implement microservices and distributed systems.

-Develop workflows and orchestrations using

-Utilize AWS services extensively, including:

  • Compute: Fargate, Lambda, EC2
  • Storage/Databases: S3, RDS/Aurora
  • Messaging/Eventing: SQS, SNS, EventBridge
  • Monitoring: CloudWatch

-Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for scalable data management.

-Implement async programming, concurrency, and task queues for high-performance applications.

-Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerized deployments using Docker.

-Apply git workflows and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.

Requirements:

-Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer with strong proficiency in FastAPI.

-Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

-Hands-on experience with workflow engine.

-Strong AWS experience with compute, storage, messaging/eventing, and monitoring services.

-Proficient in Docker and containerized deployments.

-Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

-Solid understanding of async programming, concurrency, and task queues.

-Familiarity with git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
