A DevOps Engineer supports the development and operations teams in building, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure and automation workflows. The role focuses on learning and assisting with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, system monitoring, and scripting for automation. Under the guidance of senior engineers, a DevOps Engineer helps ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of development and production environments.

In this role you will be required to:

·       Assist in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support efficient code delivery.

·       Help manage cloud infrastructure and automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

·       Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues.

·       Monitor system health, performance, and logs to ensure stability and reliability.

Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of DevOps processes and best practices.

·       You have a foundational understanding of CI/CD concepts and are eager to work with tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

·       You're interested in infrastructure automation and want hands-on experience with Terraform and Packer.

·       You're comfortable working with containers (Docker) and are curious about orchestration using Kubernetes and ArgoCD.

·       You're excited to learn about secrets management using Vault and managing infrastructure across AWS and Azure.

·       You enjoy solving problems, learning new tools, and collaborating with others in a fast-paced DevOps environment.

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Industry Experience:

  • Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech
  • Retail and eCommerce
  • Government and Public Sector
  • IT and Software Development

Experience with Tools & Technologies:

  • CI/CD Tools – Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
  • Infrastructure as Code – Terraform, Packer
  • Containerization & Orchestration – Docker, Kubernetes
  • Secrets & Configuration Management – HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager
  • Cloud Platforms – AWS, Azure
  • Monitoring & Logging  – Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
  • Collaboration & Documentation – GitHub, Confluence, Slack

Collaboration & Team Support:

  • Willingness to learn from and support senior DevOps engineers
  • Ability to work closely with developers, QA, and business analysts
  • Comfortable collaborating in agile, cross-functional teams

Technical & Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation best practices
  • Ability to translate operational needs into automated solutions

Communication & Documentation:

  • Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to document infrastructure, workflows, and technical procedures
  • Comfortable participating in technical discussions and reviews

Foundational Cloud & DevOps Knowledge

  • Awareness of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and basic cloud services
  • Familiarity with containerization, infrastructure as code, and Git-based workflows
