Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager specializing in IT or Banking & Finance projects. The ideal candidate has strong end-to-end project management experience, leading technology, digital transformation, regulatory, or process improvement initiatives within financial services or fintech environments. This role requires strong stakeholder management, technical understanding, and the ability to deliver complex projects in a highly regulated industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead full project lifecycle—from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, to closure—for IT or banking-related projects.
  • Oversee delivery of digital, regulatory, system migration, process automation, or technology-driven initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, RAID logs, resource plans, and governance documentation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, risk, compliance, and operations.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, updates, and communication to ensure alignment across all parties.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project escalations, issue management, and decision-making support.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Identify and manage project risks, constraints, and dependencies.
  • Ensure project alignment with banking regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards.
  • Support change management, documentation, and go-live readiness activities.

Process Improvement & Technical Oversight

  • Apply project management best practices and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Work with technical teams to understand system requirements, integrations, data flows, and test cycles.
  • Lead UAT planning, defect management, and implementation validation for technology projects.

QualificationsRequired:

  • 3–8+ years of project management experience in IT or banking/financial services.
  • Proven track record leading IT projects (e.g., system implementation, digital solutions, automation, core banking enhancements, APIs, data initiatives).
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, regulatory requirements, or enterprise technology.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in PM tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Asana, or similar.

Preferred:

  • Experience in fintech, shared services, banking operations, or technology consulting.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, data analytics, or cybersecurity projects is a plus.
