Receptionist

A receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. They are responsible for managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and performing administrative tasks to support smooth office operations. The role requires professionalism, communication skills, and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and deliveries.
- Maintain and update appointment schedules and meeting rooms.
- Provide information to clients, staff, and visitors as needed.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Assist in coordinating office events and meetings.
- Ensure security by following procedures and monitoring access.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative support or customer service is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable, and patient personality.
Optional/Preferred:
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Basic accounting or data entry skills.
