Position Overview
The HR Manager will lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions for both office and operational teams. The ideal candidate must have experience in construction, renovation, engineering, or similar workforce-heavy industries, enabling them to effectively support teams ranging from administrative staff to warehouse personnel, project teams, field supervisors, and installers.
This role is suited for someone who is strategic yet hands-on, strong in leadership, and capable of maintaining structure, discipline, and culture across different departments.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Recruit for a wide range of roles: office staff, operations, warehousing, creative/media, project team, and field personnel.
- Build strong talent pipelines for manpower-heavy positions.
- Lead onboarding and ensure smooth integration across all departments.
2. Employee Relations & Culture Management
- Act as the main HR contact for all employees—office and field.
- Handle employee concerns, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions professionally.
- Promote a consistent, positive, and performance-oriented company culture.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee timekeeping, attendance, HR documentation, contract management, and records.
- Ensure full compliance with PH labor laws, internal policies, and safety regulations relevant to renovation/construction-type operations.
- Regularly update policies to match the company's growth and operational needs.
4. Leadership Support & Performance Management
- Guide supervisors and department heads on people management, communication, and team handling.
- Drive the performance review process and help create targeted development plans.
- Identify skills gaps and support training initiatives across all units.
5. Workforce & Site Support (Balanced)
- Provide HR support for site-based teams when needed (installers, project teams, runners, warehouse crews).
- Ensure proper coordination between HR and operations regarding deployment, schedules, and conduct requirements.
- Help maintain productive, disciplined, and safe work practices in field operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of HR experience, with experience in construction, renovation, engineering, manufacturing, or similar industries strongly preferred.
- Solid background in employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
- Able to support both technical/field-based roles AND administrative/corporate roles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-department environment.
